Expert Repairs

Extend the Life of Your Fence

Before replacing a fence entirely, it's worth having an expert assess whether targeted repairs can restore its function and appearance at a fraction of the cost. In many cases, replacing a few rotted posts, resetting a leaning section, or swapping out damaged boards is all it takes to add years of life to your existing fence.

At Shenandoah Fence, we repair all types of fencing — wood, vinyl, aluminum, and chain link. We carry common replacement materials and have the tools and experience to match your existing fence's style and finish as closely as possible.

We provide honest assessments. If a repair is the right move, we'll do the repair. If replacement is more economical in the long run, we'll tell you that too.

What We Fix

Fence Repair Services We Provide

Storm & Wind Damage

High winds, fallen trees, and storm debris can cause significant fence damage. We assess and repair all types of storm-related damage quickly.

Rotted Posts & Boards

Wood rot at or below the ground line is one of the most common fence problems. We replace rotted posts and boards before damage spreads.

Leaning & Sagging Fences

Posts that have shifted, settled, or heaved due to frost can cause sections to lean. We re-set and stabilize posts properly.

Broken or Missing Boards

Individual board replacement restores the appearance and function of your fence without a full replacement.

Gate Repair & Adjustment

Gates that sag, drag, or won't latch properly are safety concerns. We repair hinges, latches, and gate frames of all types.

Vinyl & Aluminum Repair

Cracked vinyl panels, bent aluminum pickets, and damaged post caps are no problem — we stock common repair parts.

Repair vs. Replace

How We Assess Your Fence

When you contact us about a fence repair, we'll schedule a site visit to assess the situation. We look at the extent of damage, the age and condition of the fence overall, and what it would cost to repair versus replace.

In general, repair makes sense when damage is isolated to a section, the rest of the fence is in good condition, and the fence style and materials are still available for matching. Replacement may be more cost-effective when a fence is old, heavily damaged across multiple sections, or when the homeowner wants to upgrade to a different material.

We'll give you an honest recommendation either way — and a clear, itemized estimate before any work begins.
